In a new Oct. 27 post on TPUSA’s Instagram, the far fight group reveals they have open positions for secretary and treasurer. Given Ellis’ previous position was secretary, this announcement reveals that campaigns to remove Ellis from the campus community have been semi-successful. It is unknown at the time of writing whether Ellis stepped down or was removed from TPUSA by the group itself.
On Oct. 23, local CU Boulder nazi student Nathaniel Ellis had a hockey stick broken over his head by an unknown rollerblader while leaving a Turning Point USA (TPUSA) meeting that was being held at Ekeley Science. This follows a wave of local student and community organizations reposting info about him on Instagram to let the broader community know about his presence on campus.
Ellis revealed that his rollerblading challenger had been following him and said he “came up behind me and broke a hockey stick over my head,” as reported by the Boulder Daily Camera. After Ellis’ quick collision with a hockey stick, the unknown adversary yelled “f—- you fascist” and rollerbladed away. Ellis announced that “antifa physically attacked [him] for [his] America first values and actions,” following up and comparing himself to dead nazi Charlie Kirk, stating, “…like Mr. Kirk, I will not let threats dissuade me from my TPUSA involvement or beliefs.”
Ellis had recently been doxed in a report by groups Front Range Antifascists and Colorado Springs Anti-Fascists, where they identify him as a member of the far right nazi group, Patriot Front. Ellis, who is a 19 year old sophomore from Durango, is also the secretary of CU Boulder’s TPUSA chapter, a group founded by said dead nazi, Charlie Kirk.
The groups identified Ellis after TPUSA’s Instagram account tagged him in a post, which led the researchers to discover another photo of him fighting in a white supremacist boxing tournament. Besides fighting other nazis, Ellis has led anti-queer rallies, dropped antisemitic banners equating Judaism with zionism, put up racist and nationalistic posters, and declared that he’s “actually racist…just straight up racist,” (in a video advocating for remigration of the black diaspora to Africa). While TPUSA has historically and surprisingly removed members who’ve had relation to extremist groups like Patriot Front in an attempt to seem civil, many new members are getting a pass as TPUSA membership has skyrocketed following the termination of Charlie Kirk’s pulse.
